Hunter M. Davis

During his senior year in high school, Hunter got his first big break landing an exclusive interview with Dallas Mavericks Owner and Entrepreneur, Mark Cuban, for KDGN Television. That interview would later earn him the Mark Holtz Broadcast Journalism Award and a scholarship to Texas Christian University. After interning as a script reader on the Universal lot, Hunter moved to California with his film degree and a packed Ford Explorer to begin his career as a writer/director. Since his move to Los Angeles in 2005, Hunter has had scripts place in several international writing competitions. In 2006, Hunter won the Friday the 13th award for best short at the Screamfest International Film Festival in Los Angeles. Hunter has directed music videos for upcoming LA bands such as The League and Gas Station Robber, and in 2006, teamed up with fellow TCU alumni, Chris St. Pierre, to form Speck Productions. Speck Productions has since produced several short films, spec commercials, a TV pilot, and most recently a comedy/mockumentary called, Beer Pong: Behind the Glory. (2007) Hunter is originally from Dallas, Texas. It is no surprise that he is also a devoted Cowboys/Mavericks fan.
